Chuck wants Fedor!

Former UFC Champion Chuck Lidell recently did an interview with the Sunsport website and commented that Fedor does not live up to his hype as the world's greatest fighter.

Here are some of Chuck's quotes from the article:

"Fedor's someone I want to fight because hes someone I match up well with."

"I think I could take him. I think I match up well with him."

"As far as I know hes never knocked anyone out from his feet and I think he'd have a hard time taking me down."

"A move to heavyweight is a possibility for me. If I'm done with everything at light heavyweight I might move up."

"The top guys up there aren't all that big heavyweights. Randy was but I knocked him out twice."

I have my doubts whether Chuck could be Anderson... let alone moving up in weight.

Charles, Charles, Charles. I know that as an athlete, with that mentality, even IIII think I stand a chance against Fedor. From an outside perspective, however, you'd get thrown farther than Nogueria from the stand up and pummeled even harder from the guard. I'd LOVE to see this fight. I'd give Charles Liddell's left lung for it...before Fedor collapses it.

Let couture fight fedor first then we'll see what happens from there. chuck worry about tryin to get past rampage your 0 and 2 so far with him. beat him then challenge fedor

Chuck may be crossing the line again with those comments. He has a problem with crossing the lines, he's a habitual line stepper.
Fedor will just have to check him, no problem

For some reason Liddell thinks Fedor has now power as a striker which is the "advangtage" he needs. Maybe I'm watching the wrong fights but Fedor's striking is pretty damn impressive. I think a better match up for Liddell would be Aleks although I personally think Aleks striking is better than Fedor's he just isn't as well rounded.

Fedor's striking is not impressive, its just just solid in my opinion. Chuck Liddell loves underestimating people's striking... he did it with Couture and Rampage. I would rather see Hendo move back up to 205 lbs and fight Liddell.

i like how people talk crap about people, who are probably never going to fight the people they are talking crap about... I listened to some radio thing and it was two Hosts and Dana White. THey talked about how much of a pussy Couture is... also lots of comments about him being gay. I'd like to see THOSE two have a boxing match... White versus Couture. Nice ring to it...

Chuck is a fighter and doing what fighters do....challenging the best in order to prove to himself that he's that good. Let the man step up and try, I'd pay to watch any match up with great fighters.
