Ab Jack-Knife

Here is a great solo drill for the Abs with a swiss ball.

  • Step 1
  • Start with your hands on the floor, knees bent with your shins resting on the ball
  • Step 2
  • Pull your rear towards the ceiling, allowing the ball to roll down your shins until your toes are on the ball.
  • Step 3
  • Drop your hips and return to the starting position, repeat until you feel the BURN!!!!

Ah geez... I hate these kind of workouts. Probably because they are some of the most effecive it burns that bad... Thanks for the drill "show"

ouch... i have problems doing these. Probably due to the torn muscle in my abs... but they do strengthen the old core.

I've done some physical therapy involving these sort of balls, and there are many good uses for strengthening stabilizer muscles.
