![]() |
Here is a drill donated by lockflow member and 2-0 MMA fighter bshaw. A great drill for developing a strong neck. Bshaw recommends doing this drill 30 times, here is the drill on video, with the step by step below:
-
Step 1
-
step 2
-
step 3
-
step 4
-
step 5
-
step 6
-
Step 7
Brian grabs Mario's ankles while in the back bridge
using his grip on Mario's legs, Brian pulls his legs up and over his own head
Brian splits his legs and touches the ground on both sides of Mario's legs
keeping the bridge, Brian lands back into the back bride position
Brian shoot both legs to one side of Mario's legs
Brian lands back into the back bridge position
Brian then goes to the other side and repeats the drill.

30 TIMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!|????????????
can't wait to try this one, although not as cool as my video...
Holy jeez that looks hard.
I would pay to see BShaw do this 30 times. I saw him at work today after doing the 5 reps on the video and he could barely hold his own head up his neck hurt so bad! Thanks for the demo!
LOL!! doogles. im impressed i havent seen shaw and mats in the same room in a long time. its nice to have video proof. i love you shaw!
very cool drill I just started this a few weeks back to build up my neck
love it!!
Courage does not always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying "I will try again tomorrow"
Does your neck already have to be strong for this, or is this a drill you can do with no real prior neck work?
