A tight muay thai clinch with correct hand and arm position is an effective way to set up your knee strikes.

Adrian begins his clinch by cupping the crown of Joe's head.
He then grasps his wrist and pins his elbows in tight.
Then he pulls Joe's head down to the left side of his head still with elbows tight.
Adrian steps to his right...
and yanks hard pulling Joe off balance while controling the head with his forearms and elbows.
He quickly steps out to his right again...
and yanks hard pulling Joe off balance while controling the head with his forearms and elbows.
As Joe swings into position Adrian steps back with his left leg preparing to...
fire the knee. Repeat on the opposite side.
