Clinch w/ Neck Wrestle to Knee Strikes

A tight muay thai clinch with correct hand and arm position is an effective way to set up your knee strikes.
Here Adrian Wise shows correct clinch position and control. Have fun!!

  • Cup the Crown
  • Adrian begins his clinch by cupping the crown of Joe's head.
  • Grip
  • He then grasps his wrist and pins his elbows in tight.
  • Clinched
  • Then he pulls Joe's head down to the left side of his head still with elbows tight.
  • Step Out
  • Adrian steps to his right...
  • Yank
  • and yanks hard pulling Joe off balance while controling the head with his forearms and elbows.
  • Step out Again
  • He quickly steps out to his right again...
  • Yank
  • and yanks hard pulling Joe off balance while controling the head with his forearms and elbows.
  • Set Up
  • As Joe swings into position Adrian steps back with his left leg preparing to...
  • Knee
  • fire the knee. Repeat on the opposite side.
