The Daglish
The Daglish is a very simple running drill.
You need something that can mark out the red spots (1-7) and something to run on.
Place out the things you use for marking in a pattern. One thing to remember is that you shouldn't place it in a circle. Everything but a circle.
And also chose how many laps you want to run just by adding or removing markings.
Choose on the spot to be No 1.
Make the persons running at No. 1 and have them sprint at full speed to No 2. Then slow down and jog point 2 through 7 and back to No 1.
Now sprint at full speed from No 1 to No2 to No 3. Jogging No 3 through No 7 and back to 1.
Sprint full speed No 1 thru No 4. Jog No 4 through No 1.
And so on. At the last lap you will sprint the whole race No 1 through No 7 and back to No 1.

Do I wanna fight?
Hell yeah I wanna fight!
Do you do things at the red marks? Like pushups at #1, situps at 2, squats at 3, takedowns at 4, etc.?

That's optional but I think that would be less effective since then you would get total rest in the drill. If you do stops at each and every # it wont be good, but maybe if you did one thing each lap. Like when you return to point No 1. you do push-ups, squats or something similar. But of course it may work perfectly to add some kind of stations on each point. Check out how it works!
I do the daglish during UFC Events, religiously. I start at 1, my couch. Then I run to 2, the fridge. Then a brisk walk to 3, the TV. Dash to 4, the internet to check lockflow. Sprint to 5, the restroom (shouldn't have ate those leftover tacos at step 2). Jog to 6, the bedroom to change into some relaxing clothes and sprint to 7, the lounge chair so I don't miss any of the fights.
Repeat during commercial breaks as needed!
Haha.. =D If you do any squats at 2, the fridge be sure to bend your knees and not your back
How much distance do you typically use between each of the cones?
I would say that it depends really much on what you want to do. When I do this 10 m between each cone is good. One lap will then be 80 m.
i love the diagram. lol but a really nice drill
keep your enemies close...keep your elbows closer
-or marcelo will break them.
