Cole starts with the single leg over arm bar, My hands are gripped together.
I reach my hands over Cole's knee
Using my grip and pushing off with my feet, I back roll over my grip
I continue to roll backwards and land on my feet, my hands are still gripped together
I finish the roll and pull my head out.
I step my right leg over Cole's head
I place my right shin bone on Cole's back close to his armpit as I place left foot in front of Cole's head
I fall back for the Armbar
Cole grips his hands over my knee
Cole does the same back roll
Cole lands and pulls his head out
Cole steps his right leg over my head and places his left foot in front of my face.
Cole falls back for the armbar... and we are back where we started!

Looks like a good drill. Might be a good idea to stop halfway through and work the other side too, but that probably doesn't need to be said.

Nice one. Gonna work it tonight.

Hey Chaz, I wanna upload some pics sometime and show you another version very similar. Basically you tuck your right foot in step 10, to your butt, and just roll straight to your right and your foot is already tucked behind their back and the armbar is set up as in step 13.
Very nice technique though.
It probably takes a lot more momentum though
we'd love it Marc!
another good workout

i tried this with my friend...it's not as easy as it looks but it gives you great confidence in dealing with arm bar defense.
