Fedor Emelianenko on Dana White's statements and Randy ‘The Natural’ Couture
Numerous times have I read mister White’s statements on Internet concerning myself. In my opinion, allowing yourself to say those things is not a sign of a gentleman or a grown man at all! If he candidly wants to prove himself right then let my fight with Randy happen or let me face the reigning UFC champion Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira. In the future I wouldn’t want to hear those statements in my address ever again and I won’t tolerate that.
My last fight in Japan proved that I’m ready to fight anybody with any height advantage, skillset or experience. I have fought and still wish to fight the best athletes. The Randy fight is my goal number one right now, he’s a great fighter and this is a very unfortunate situation when too strict and one-sided UFC contracts don’t let this fight happen.
The whole world is eager to see me fight your champions, people don’t want to listen to your press-conferences. I’m signed with M-1 Global and this promotion is ready to organize such fights under our banner or in co-promoted events."

Fedor is not only a great athlete but a very humble man...I hope he gets to fight Randy.
Success is a journey, not a destination.
I smell a storm brewing!!!!! Dana should man up and do a co-promotion with M1 one time I bet that it makes a killing but i know Mr. White would just love to keep it all for his org. so it most likely will not happen.
i know you didnt see that one coming but it wouldnt have mattered cause your chin was high and your hands down away!
Gentlemen, please!
Fedor is a classy guy and tells it like it is. People forget that Dana is a businessman first and an MMA (or rather UFC) fan second.
lets see... Randy vs. Fedor. the ONE fight that every follower of MMA desires to see... whats even odder is that both fighters are also feeling the lust to do battle. Fedor is an excellent fighter, Randy is an excellent fighter. Both fighters are great men outside of punching people in the head... they are both both great for MMA. Dana white however comes of as an MMA fan who is greedy, spoiled rotten little kid who has to have the popular figthers... and will not hesitate to treat his other fighters like garbage. He pays people to blong to the UFC... and to fight. He is, in my opinion, a very brash businessman... but he understands what it takes to lose peoples interest alright lol.
+1 to Fedor...hope the fight happens, i would pay so much to see it!

I don't want to grow old without seeing that fight. I would tell my grandchildren of how I saw many great fights in my life but always the one that I wanted most in the world remained elusive due to a selfish millionare.
wake up dana

What's the point? Randy will just take a dirt nap quick style and we all know it. He wouldn't have a chance in hell.
HATE.
wow, i have to disagree with you Happy Norman... i think he will put up a good fight, but possibly get caught in an armbar. I think Couture is a much better striker, and a better wrestler... but Fedor can possibly win with a sub...

I don't know how anyone can say that Randy is doesn't have a chance in hell against anyone. The guy has got a solid chance in every fight he's in, that's just my opinion, what do I know.

I always smile when people talk about Randy being overmatched... Do you people remember the Gonzaga fight?

Ugh, people like HappyNorman irritate the piss out of me. Don't discount a fighter until he's been TKFO, especially someone like Randy Couture. Sure, barring that lame cut Fedor is undefeated (and even WITH the cut he was more than ready to keep fighting) but Randy is still a hell of an athlete.

WOW, IMO, Fedor just made sure this fight will never happen in the UFC. He didn't do anything wrong, but I don't suspect Dana will respond well to being called out.
that fight would make some serious bank$$$$$!
5000 posts = unicorn status There is only room for one Toby Mcquire, and that is me: Jake Jilenhol.
Yes that's the problem. M-1 is looking for their ticket into the bank. And they are probably pressuring fedor into taking them there. I wouldn't expect him to make something like this.
I feel maybe if Randy would've handled himself better and stuck to the contract he made. Stuff would've turned out alot better. Even though maybe he wasn't getting exactaly what was promised. But hey you signed the contract. If you really wanted a fight stay loyal to it, and then bow out when it's time.
Mercury, i agree with you, but Fedor does have some great striking, I still think Fedor would win by sub though...
this would be awesome... id still like to see fedor beat the hell out of brock lesnor so my wwe watching friends will shut the hell up...
