nice article, imo most important is no 7 LEAVING THE EGO AT THE DOOR goes for any martial art.

#1 INHALE, you'll get choked out plenty, don't do it to yourself. And #2 Holding on with all your strength will only delay the inevitable, when defending yourself, fluid movement beats strength. Ask Shane Carwin.

Wear a cup. If you have ever locked out an armbar without a cup on you know what I am talking about. Put your hips into that one and smash a testicle.
