Best jock for Combat Sports?
Ok Ive been using the wal-mart brand brief style jock for a while but they dont last very long. I tried the Shock Doctor compression jock but my cup felt like it was free floating and shifted side to side more than it stayed in place b/c unlike traditional jocks, the straps that pull the cup in and hold it in place are non-exsistent. Its basically spandex with a cup pouch and no retention system to hold it in place. Now Im afraid to order any type of compression jock without being able to try it on. Ive heard great reviews of the Dirty Boxer and Jaco compression jocks but dont know how reliable they are.
Anyone have any reviews of brands that they have been satisfied with?
UPDATE:
I went to the following site and there were some great reviews but with no price listed I can almost guess that they are way too overpriced. http://diamondmma.com/
Im interested b/c they state that their compression shorts have 4-way muay thai straps built in.
I roll with a pair of boxer briefs. Haven't worn a jock or cup for a few years now. Then again, I'm not striking.
Everyone I knew uses shock doctor. Either their marketing is really good and the product sucks, or maybe you got a size too big or something? PS. That last sentence wasn't meant to imply that you have a small penis.
The Shock Doctor compression shorts are terrible, IMO. Their jock strap is great. Just wear a strap over your favorite compression shorts. (I'm an UnderArmor HeatGear fan, myself.)
While we're on the subject, what are some reasonably priced, durable compression shorts that you all have been satisfied with? I won't be wearing a cup with them since I don't go super hard on the feet, but I do need something pretty snug to hold myself in place while I'm doing parkour in addition to martial arts use. I feel like I'm readjusting my boxer briefs every five minutes...

FREESTYLE AMERICAN SHOOT TEAM Thanks to eagles for the sig!

Any updates?
I'm on the market for one. I was leaning towards the Jaco set..mainly because I can buy it locally.
