The wife and I finally decided to stop putting things off and go get our first tattoos today. We have finally evolved from being pierced wierdos to being tattooed and pierced wierdos!
It was a nice way to cap off our wedding in Vegas and 1 week, kid free, honeymoon.

Yeah sorry that one is a bit dark (and bad camera to boot).
The image:

The kanji translated means "martial man" or "warrior". Also (with the circle) is the badge of the style of ninjutsu I train in.

The wife's is a take on the celtic tree of life, with the gaelic words for "Mother, sister, and daughter" around it and a butterfly thown in for kicks.

Awesome ink, great work. They seem very well thought-out and not shitty-meaningless scrabbles. Congrats on the cherry pop also, lemme know if you get "the itch". The tattoo itch that is, not anything that might be contributed to a week in Vegas.

Oh there is an itch for sure... but the doc says that should clear up in a week or so. :oops:

But seriously....I had another back piece that I planned out over 4 years that I've been wanting to get done for ages. I just decided to go a little smaller for the first one to get a taste :lol:
