Former UFC fighter sentence in sexual assault case
Former Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) heavyweight and Ultimate Fighter (TUF) 2 contestant Mike Whitehead was sentenced to one-to-four years in prison earlier today (Jan. 19, 2012) by the Clark County District Court, where Whitehead pleaded guilty to sexual assault charges last September.
The News Tribune broke the story earlier this afternoon.
"Iron" Mike, responsible for $2,400 in restitution, will be also be forced to register as a sex offender and face "lifetime supervision" from the courts.
Whitehead turned himself in back on April 14, 2011, and was subsequently charged with sexual assault, attempted sexual assault and open and gross lewdness. Whitehead posted $14,000 bail and was released that same day.
Hope he rots in there.....
I hate rapist life in prison for them all and tortur. One strike and your out. There should be no second chance. This guys case I'm unsure about. Some people are made out to be monsters or serious sex offenders because of the title in the charges they got. But ya down with child molesters and rapist
