Getting my 1st tattoo

Next Tuesday after work. I've thought about getting one for a while but no idea ever stuck. But now I'm gonna do it.

The guy who's doing that tattoo is named Fingers. I think that is awesome. Who else would you want doing your tattoo?

Ultimately I'm going to have a full guy on my back, for now I'm just getting his face/head on my upper back. He's going to based off one of the bad guys from Big Trouble in Little China.

(thought about tramp-stamping the lockflow but then went against it cuz Tank already had one.)

OK, got the head done. I'll post some real pics tomorrow sometime when it quits seeping!! Here's the final artwork....

The line on his nose is where the shading stops, the area above that is heavily shaded from the hat. (hard to explain unless you see it.)

I've always heard that tattoo's are addicting, that part must kick in later, right now I'm pretty sick of that whole thing!! I think he ued a lawn mower to get the ink in there.[/img]

Yea, also not my taste. I love tattoos and never have gotten one due to me realizing I'd most likely regret what I put on my body.

I've always figured that if I get a tattoo I should get a big back piece because I would be the last guy you would ever expect to have one. To hear that this is your plan for your first tattoo makes me giggle.

No tatts here either. I have considered getting one the last few years but have just not quite pulled the trigger on it. I have yet to find anything I would want on my body for the rest of my life. Plus, I am a huge needle chicken. The irony of that is I was a firefighter/paramedic for about 12 years. I could stick people all day long, but when it comes to being stuck, I cannot watch. If I do, my vision starts to go black around the edges and things get all swimmy...kinda like being in a choke for too long without tapping.
