Gripping Techniques
My friend Georgi Georgiev shows his gripping techniques to the full on this link
Georgi is a Judo expert and gives a basic intro into gripping skills, however this is true competitive gripping, the onus is to create space and then throw. If you cant find the video on this link come to http://thegrapplingreview.webs.com/ where the video can be seen along with other videos. I seem to be struggling to post stuff on this site. At the end of the day if you cant grip you cant throw or submit so its the very first gateway you need to cross. I have been training with Georgi for a while now and hes based in the UK, he is a former National Bulgarian Judo and Sambo champion (he is not to be confused with the other Bulgarian Judo star of the same name but a lighter weight). George is a master at grip fighting and this intro video is a very fast and basic look at a few gripping strategies. Hope you enjoy it. If you do more vidoes will be following.

great vid!

Never argue with an idiot, cause he'll bring you down to his level and beat you with experience
George is one of the best kept secrets in the world of grappling. Hes 31 and just getting over knee surgery but up until he was about 19 he was on the Bulgarian National Judo squad and was their Junior champion. Unfortunately in the seniors he got pipped into third place and as such never made the international scene. He packed in Judo but has done Sambo and wrestling to a high standard. On the mat hes awesome, hes a grip fighting master, with amazing strength and technique. Hes been in the UK for 10 years now and has just started his own school. Watch this space, hes going to be a huge success in the grappling world once his knee is better. Ill post some more footage of him soon.http://thegrapplingreview.webs.com/
maybe i'm gonna mention to some people to start to import bulgarian people into hungary.
hard sparring session is like a cold shower in a warm day. It feels good.
Yeah, Im going to try and get him to show more of his stuff for the internet this week. His grip breaks and grip strength is simply awesome. Since I started training with him about 2 years ago Ive learned the difference between club level and world class level of grip strength and grip tactics. The main difference is that once a world class gripper has a grip you really have difficulty breaking it off, so you have to learn to throw even in a negative grip situation
awsome try to make some more stuff they are realy great, and there is so little about grips out there.
