My docter is wanting me to go to a weight loss program. I said great were do I sign. The catch they put you on a few meds that I have never heard of. Phentermine, Hoodia Gordonii, and you get a weekly shot of b-12/lipotropic. All this with a food pland and a weigh in every month.
Has any one ever taken this stuff or heard of it? is it safe the results they show are great but I dont know

Im pretty sure Hoodia gordonii is a plant? I think I saw it on Beyond Survival with Les Stroud.

When in doubt the left hook comes out.

if anyone is watching the biggest loser season 11 they get to see RULON GARDENER struggle with having become overweight himself.

What is their exercise plan? I would be suspicious of those drugs and a b 12 shot. Side note what shape is the doctor in?

the hoodia and b12 are no big deal. hoodia is a waste of 5 bucks from walmart. the b12 shot is the health care equivalent to what cocaine was around the early 1900s. they give it for everything from the sniffles to cancer. my mom was getting them for a while after she found out she had MS.

not sure about the other stuff.

B-12 shots are just concentrated doses of the vitamin delivered by way of IM injection. These have been a medical staple for awhile now, so no worries here.

Hoodia is supposedly an appetite suppressant, but it seems like the latest in a line of disappointinf miracle drugs, although I haven't read anything that suggests it has ill side effects.

I would research phentermine the most, only b/c it's the one that of which i know theleast, but that doesn;t mean it isn't legit.

What's the stucture of the diet plan the MD is suggesting?
