Having arthroscopic surgery on shoulder 4/5/2011

tore my labrum both posterior and anterior. Hoping that it will just be a debridement (clipping the tear and smoothing the area) but may be a repair. I was wondering if anyone was interested on weekly updates on the recovery process.
let me know what you guys think, I'd be happy to share my pain
Being realistic and per my surgeon, I am hoping to strictly follow rehab and i think should be back to training by mid to late August and if all goes well be in the cage by mid to late Sept.

So ended up being a repair... five ports, 2 in the front 3 int the back. Still waiting to find out how many anchors I got.
Overall, not too bad, I was prescribed oxycodone but all I have taken is motrin. I read alot online about the pain being terrible but its really not bad. The worst thing for me is the knowledge that I will need this sling for a month. I have already begun hand, wrist and forearm exercises. I also have begun isometrically contracting my shoulder and tricep muscles to retain as much strength and reduce muscle atrophy.
So far so good, I am looking forward to a full recovery over time and a return to the cage in late Sept or Oct...
I originally injured it in my last fight, it came partially out of socket after I threw a hook, I got it back in and it was then caught in a kimora. Then grappling I was in the turtle position and my partner went to transition to the other side and landed on my shoulder back tie in. the shoulder partially separated again and I think that is when the back tore.
Nothing to do but heal and get back to it so...
oh yeah I posted the fight where the injury started in the multi media forum...
We cannot become what we need to be by remaining what we are.
