Quick question, been training jiu jitsu for a few months and havent really given any thought to what type of headgear would be the best to invest in. Looked up a few brands of headgear but still not to sure what to be looking for any help is appreciated : )

You mean wrestling headgear?  I wouldn't even bother it just gets in the way.

11th dan in Parnes Jiu-Jitsu, it's one more than Ransom's. Real PJJ goes to 11!

my left ear is somewhat bugging but has stopped a few of the guys i train with have mild cauliflower ear and showed me the what to look out for, so yeah its more for preventative reasons but at the same time i wanna make sure my partners are safe ive seen a few types of really bulky eargaurds dont look so fun to roll with, i here they have cotton lined eargaurd's but have yet to come across to many online.
