Home Gyms
So I've been planning out some before work gym routines.. but recently our gym's new (4 month) dollamur mats seems were coming off (factory defect with the glue). So they made and installed a new floor. Luckily for me, the seller was able to keep the defect and with very little work able to repair the mats.
So, I bought an end roll (with no defects) for home. 6x36! I'll cut it in two and have a great mat space for home. And can wake up and do some conditioning right at home.
That said, what kinds of conditioning equipment are a must haves for a home gym? (namely to for BJJ)
So far:
exercise ball for core,stability training
skipping rope
medicine ball
Hopefully I can find a kettle bell or two.
One thing that I use is a 60 lb bag of sand wrapped with a ton of duck tape. Can do all kinds of the core excercises with it.
^ awesome!
omg, that looks badass..........
Gymboss timer is a must for any workout where you are using minimal equipment and bodyweight. Sprawls, sit-outs, burpees, push-ups etc. etc.
Pullup bar is a must... just one that goes on the door works fine. Aside from pullups and leg raise youthe can use fit bands on it to do snap downs and rows.

FREESTYLE AMERICAN SHOOT TEAM Thanks to eagles for the sig!

some barbell and a few plates and a pull up bar. For home i think that is more than enough.
hard sparring session is like a cold shower in a warm day. It feels good.
