mmafighting:

The California State Athletic Commission has denied a license for Korean kickboxer Hong-Man Choi to fight at Dynamite!! USA due to a medical condition, according to Yahoo! Sports' Kevin Iole.

FEG, the promotion backing Dynamite!! USA, plans to ask the commisison to reconsider the ruling if Choi can pass his medicals on Wednesday with a different doctor.

Brock Lesnar, a former NCAA wrestling champion and former WWE superstar, is now left without an opponent for his long-awaited MMA debut.

Finding a suitable replacement for Choi may be difficult considering the event is ten days away.

Its a shame, I was looking forward to his match with Lesnat. I thoguht Lesnar was going to take it assuming he could get the big man on the floor.

I can't wait to see what Lesnar can do in MMA, altho I'm not getting my hopes up too high. I have a feeling we may see a lay n pray, and idk about his cardio.

I think that Lesnar will be one of the most well conditioned fighters out there. College wrestling is tough. And you have to be in good shape for that. The WWE while very fake; its still tough to hold a 400+ guy over your head and and do a controlled slam. He was doing that 4-5 nights a week. For the vikes he waas going non-stop. He trains with Sherk. Sherk was in great shape and able to go a solid 5 rounds against Florian. Its his mental game after he gets hit that worries me. He could go strong for 30 min no prob IMO. But once you get hit, it is a whole new ballgame.
