Sometimes happen to me that right before going to the gym i feel very tired, i feel like lay on a couch and rest. It's a battle, while my mind want to go for a fun sparring and tecnical session my body say no.
I always try to force myself and even if i'm tired often i go there anyway.
Sometimes thought i feel to tired and i skip the lesson, i feel so bad because of that but it's strongher than me.
I like my sport so i don't think is mental, i think is my body that is too tired.
do you guys have any tips to get more energy before training, i don't want to take any energy drinks nor coffe because i know that caffeine won't make sleep later so i better avoid them.

Another question is, if it happen that the night before training i didn't sleep enough something like 3 hours do you think is good to push yourself and go to train anyway or is better for my body to rest ?

My first suggestion is take time off and rest, because not sleeping and recovering between sessions turns everything into over-training. But if that's just not an option for you...

Fruit smoothie, watermelon, banana, bit of cottage cheese.

or

apple, kiwi, banana

You get the idea. Maybe some oatmeal. Just be sure you're giving yourself enough time to digest. Seems to be a recurring theme in gyms. People who just show up to train, pushing themselves too hard, and trying to train like fighters. No one's going to knock you out if you take some time off. There's no end to training, so don't feel bad for not "pushing through it" when there's no immediate goal to reach.

When I started I was only 14 and my diet was TERRIBLE and i felt like it all the time, lots of cheetos lots of mountain dew, I just wasn't fueling my body properly for such intense training. As soon as I figured out it was my diet and i switched it up I felt and performed much better, you didn't mention what you were eating so I thought I would throw it out there in case it was that.

we are only as good as our last meal... I have heard that your over all stamina and energy of any given day will depend on the quality of your last meal the day before. Try and have a well balanced meal for diner (lots of vegetables and a small portion of protein like fish or tuna) and you'll feel more alert and revitalized for the next day

The same thing happens to me sometimes... I get extremely tired when I get home from work and have to force myself to go to the gym. I found that eating healthier definitely helps, but if you aren't getting enough sleep, nothing is going to be able to make up for that. Sometimes you just have to figure out what your priorities are and cut out some of the non-essential stuff. Having a job where I have to work nearly 10 hours a day, a wife, two kids, and trying to train, I don't have time to do everything I would like. But, training is very important to me and it is one of my passions. Even on the days I feel terrible and don't want to go, once I drag myself to the gym and get warmed up, I'm glad I went.

There are some defeats more triumphant than victories.

i had a diet done buy a dietologist and more or less i follow what i was told to do.
The only thing is that i'm following a diet that was prepared for me 4 years ago.....maybe is too old, i don't know exactly when you have to change your diet...maybe every years?
Anyway i'm back from work at 5:15 p.m and i start eating...at 5:35 i'm done and i start training at 8 p.m. I think 2 hours and half is enough to diegest or do you think is not enough?
i generally eat a lot of bread and sometimes also some cheese or ham....often also a fruit like a peach.
Do you think what i eat before training is ok?if not, what should i eat ?
After training around 10:15 p.m i have a proper dinner.

Not to be rude sir but how old are you? Because when you get into your 30's you dont produce as much testosterone as you use to.

You don't want to over-eat. So small portions of quickly digestible foods can greatly benefit you when you go to train. Drinking a lot of water helps as well. You said that you tend to eat a lot of bread. Carbohydrates is essential in giving the body energy. Might I ask what type of bread you are eating? White, wheat, whole grain?
