K-Laser Treatment???

Anyone done this?

I saw a Chiroprator yesterday, my back and neck are in excellent shape so we started talking about other pains. I've had chronic issues with my knees since 5th/6th grade. My shoulder has been off and on pain for 5-10 years. (I'm 37 now) So he offers to do a K Laser treatment on me for no cost. Basically waves this laser wand over my knee for about 10 minutes and the same for the shoulder. While he's doing this he explains how the laser works and that typically people need between 12-16 sessions to be 100% healed. I am very skeptical of this! During the session I felt nothing, they said I may feel a warm sensation. After the session, back to work and home for a 2 hr BJJ class. My shoulder did not bother me 1 bit. My knee typically hurts a bit when I go up stairs, last night, very little pain. But, I am still not 100% convinced it's not all in my head.

I googled these lasers, couldn't really find anything that said they were a hoax or scam. Just wondering if anyone else has done this or heard?
