My absolute favorite technique, but it`s almost never used in MMA, and rarely in kickboxing. Does anyone else use it often, or have any interesting set ups? Personally, I've learned the technique itself it two ways:

Swinging the right leg laterally into your left, and continuing the sort of pendulum motion into the left leg, as the wind up for the kick.

and

Doing a half switch step, where instead of the right coming in front of your left foot, you move both feet to the left, and bring them almost parallell, so that you can turn to face your opponent with your left leg slightly behind you, the way you'd throw it with a normal switch.
