great idea can someone tell me if this works with an active person on bottom, I never tired to get to the head but I have in the past got to the side and it never works out well.

I've been really working my guard passes and have been very successful lately using a technique close to this.  I think a few details from this will help me increase that percentage more.

Once you have all your weight on them, it makes it difficult for the bottom guy to defend the pass.

I think this is why I fail to pass, I'll pay attention next time and see if I'm forgetting to drop my weight
