I'm the one with the stupid Gi lol

I had some good opportunities in the first match, but came up short. I Also kind of got screwed over with the kneebar (they were actually legal!)
Still, I think it was a great match.

In the second match I locked in that reverse triangle and wanted to pull that guys head right off! haha

tell me what you guys think please!

No straight kneebars ?!?! (can you do bent kneebars?) thats wild for purple belt division. (is it?)
I liked your triangle, to SAS, to kneebar combo.

You have a very aggressive guard. It looks like it is hard to pass, also. I had the volume down, because I am at work. Did the ref stop you from doing that knee bar or did you think it was illegal at the time?

What good is all of that muscle if you can't fight?

Its ridiculous that tournaments like NAGA and GRAPPLERSQUEST, big well known tournaments, have different rules for competitors competing in their Brazilian Jiu Jitsu divisions. If the rules are not going to be consistent with the IBJJF for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu than they should label the Gi Divisions : Kimono Grappling or Gi Grappling. I feel that they should do this to designate the difference in the rules. You got penalized for the knee-bar when they allow it in white belt and up divisions for Brazilian Jiu Jitsu at the GRAPPLERSQUEST. The spectator/coach was screaming "no kneebars" probably because he was under the impression that you were competing under the rules of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and not modified Kimono/ Gi Grappling rules like at the GRAPPLERSQUEST or NAGA. Under the rules of GRAPPLERSQUEST, you were robbed.

bad refereeing . And when you tapped out the second guy that ref didn’t even look like he was paying attention to your match.

I know it, you can't tell from the video, but I actually yelled to the ref "he's tapping!"

I know I probably should have let go, but I didn't know that guy and I have had people 'fake tap' and then keep going.

yes sirjuj, the ref stopped me from doing the kneebar. There was more shady stuff going on when my teammate got an explanation from one of the refs, but there isn't even a point in getting into it.

Thanks for all the comments guys. Already getting myself ready for the next one!
