Parnes (Competition) Jiu-Jitsu
Through out history it has been mans goal to make another man get pinned, knocked out, or consitisly submit. i would like to introduce you to the newest martial arts, Parnes Jiu-Jitsu. Submission grappling has evolved through out history, but made the biggest improvement since 1822. Originally there was JJJ and Pankration, followed by Judo, and then came GJJ or BJJ, then mixing stand up and ground work came sambo, shootfighting, and mma. Now finally the newest grappling style is here. I have been a fighting fan for over 7 years and studied grappling. The newest style is not completely a new style, but a simpler version of the overly complicated GJJ. GJJ teaches so many movers and most are never even used in mma and submission grappling tournaments such as NAGA and Grapplers Quest. This style only uses moves that are constintally used in both MMA and Submission Wrestling. I would greatly appriciatle any coments that you guys may have on this. I am a 15 year old kid with high school wrestling, karate, and shootfighting background.
Win-Loss-Tie
My street grappling record: 91-9-0
Wrestling 2-6-0
NAGA competition 1-0-0
I do not understand this thread.
If you mean you're starting a new grappling system, and this is your outline for it... well then it's cool that you're thinking outside of the box, but but you should probably just trust the guys who have a little more experience and keep training BJJ and wrestling for now. There's a reason BJJ, Sombo, wrestling, etc, favor the techniques they do- because they work and they're high percentage.
I think everyone here will go pretty easy on you since you're a fifteen year old kid, but I can't even imagine the kind of flaming you got at Sherdog for this. Lol.
Good job organizing the techniques though. That was creative, and the fact that you would take the time to do that shows that you have a real interest in training.
"I think everyone here will go pretty easy on you since you're a fifteen year old kid, but I can't even imagine the kind of flaming you got at Sherdog for this. Lol."
I thought this same thing! I'll have to find the thread "lpares" started b/c the backlash must have been epic if it lead straight to a ban.
I don't mean to be a d*ck, but this seems so outlandish that it is either flame-bait or delusional.
I wish I had a street grappling resume.
I don't exactly know what constitutes "street grappling" but that sounds pretty badass. I feel like if you are 91-9 where the f have I been, sleeping under a rock or something.

I'm guessing from his multiple early posts and absence of any further response means that he was indeed a troll or sufficiently embarassed.
By the by, I searched the user named "lparnes" (I guess he forgot the "n" here), but his thread must have been locked or I am too dumb to link to the thread, but if you search his name you find his thread to which I cannot link.
I think the street grappling record bit places this squarely in the flame-bait category, right?
Nah, man. I think it's innocent, just a little misguided.
I can see where someone would think BJJ is full of stuff that doesn't work if they hadn't rolled with a good grappler before, and just judged by what they saw in the UFC.
His mind is in the right place as far as trying to keep everything as simple as possible, I just don't think he realizes why things aren't that simple... if that makes any sense.
I laughed at "Hell's Gate Submission" though. Lol. That's awesome.
ransom, your photo has me LMAO! It fits this thread perfectly!
Louis, you're 91-9 in street grappling and you've gone all the way to 4th degree black belt in Parnes Jiu-Jitsu. I think that's awesome.
BTW, you may want to switch the "German Suplex into referees position" as your yellow belt requirement with the "Arm bar" & "Triangle choke" as your 3rd degree black belt requirement.
Damnit why the hell haven't i been counting all my street grappling matches???? My record would be insane....
Double you Tee Eff
Hahaha this is awesome
By the way I used to street grapple but there wasn't much money in it so I decided to retire. I did however beat Tank Abbot in a street grappling fight via flying omoplata, what a night to remember.
The reason why there are so many different techs in Jiu jitsu is cause it gives you options. Everybody has a different body type therefore not everyone will be able to do every tech. The best thing about bjj is that you can Taylor it to your own style, size or whatever. It's about options dude not about complicating things.
So you've created your own system of martial arts, but you're only a brown belt in it? That hardly seems fair
I too hold a solid record in street grappling although I am not quite as experienced holding only 67 wins and 19 losses.
Picture related, this is my first fight back in 95

haha, i know. it was one of those situations where words weren't enough.
here's another:

"brown belt in parnes jiu-jitsu since 2008."
Just being honest, I feel like we are all being punked..... sort of..... or something. I just know this thread could be around for a while, it is strange yet entertaining.
@ ranson. Thanks again.
I'm curious which unnecessary moves the Gracies added to BJJ. Lol.
But only one way to prove PJJ works, right? Do what the Gracies did- post up some videos!
Since Parnes Jiu Jitsu is more effective than Gracie Jiu Jitsu, a PJJ brown belt should mop the floor with a BJJ black belt with ease, but if you can post a video of yourself submitting a legit, resisting BJJ blue belt in your weight class at a reputable tournament like NAGA, Grappler's Quest, etc, I'll sign up for my first Parnes Jiu Jitsu lesson today. Lol.
This is an awesome thread.
Those first two posts are just pure comedy...
With a street-fighting record like that, what rank do I have to be in PJJ before I can do leaping uppercuts and shoot fire balls?
" I am a 15 year old kid with high school wrestling, karate, and shootfighting background."
I stopped reading right there. Dude. You're gonna need alot more training and experience before you create your own style. Do it. But wait till its solid. Right now, it ain't so solid.
But I think you're on the right track. Good luck.
Some of you are taking the bait!
Hey "lparnes", just post a picture in your profile that shows you and some indication of being Louis Parnes, or 1 of your 100 street grappling matches, preferably out of the 91 wins.

HAHAHA this is by far my favorite thread
I should have seen that coming.
I have to imagine that this is the general tone that the Sherdog thread took.
Somewhere "lpares", aka lparnes, is laughing at us laughing at him. Simple are we.
i don't think this is a troll; look at the join date.
i think he is just what he says he is--a kid. i was doing the same thing when i was his age with TMA, except i didn't go on forums to talk about my revelations. in time he'll realize like we do that this is just silly.
