Over the last little while, my instructor has been breaking down passes found in a BJ highlight reel. The reel is 5 passes long, and he's finally posted the final pass. Here's the link to all five.

Enjoy

Thank you, man! These were awesome! And the fact that Jeff Joslin is your coach is also awesome. That guy really impressed me in his fight with Koscheck, and I saw a video where he was giving Jon Fitch hell. Knocked a bunck of teeth out of his mouth and everything.

Why hasn't he fought lately? He would be a beast in Strikeforce.

I'm not a black belt, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

If Rickson was smaller and had better striking he would be BJ Penn! :)

It is what it is, with or without your reaction.

He sure did give Fitch hell. That loss, and the one to Goullet were both very questionable. Fitch was essentially allowed to take a time out when he got rocked. The entire Fitch fight is on youtube, you can find it.

After the Kos fight, he had two more lined up in the UFC. He pulled out of the first one for a minor injury, then the second one he sustained a concussion while training for it. That concussion side lined him for about two years. He's only now started to train again in the last six months or so, and he's mostly sticking with BJJ. Sparring in wrestling and striking aren't really worth it for him anymore as he'd rather be there for his kids then to turn his head into mush.

We'll see what the future holds for him, but right now today, he seems very focused on teaching and helping others achieve. It's a good time to be his student.

Jamie Walsh, Jean Jacques Machado 2nd Dgr blackbelt and instructor of mine drilled the Dope Mount passes and some siiiiick variations into us at his last trip to my school. He will be back in March for those interested hit me up!!!

I was rolling with Bruno Bastos yesterday and he is sick with it too with his unbelievable top pressure.

The instructor in these vids is a good instructor breaking the techs down too. Thanks for posting

He's an Alliance blackbelt, right?

I joined the site and watched a bunch of his other videos- he's a really great teacher! Do you know if he does seminars?

He definitely does seminars. He's actually flying out to the east coast of Canada to do a 2 day seminar this weekend.

And yes, blackbelt from Jacare.
