Poor judging in the Easton vs. Papazian fight

I don't want to make a bigger deal out of this than it is, especially since this was a tough fight to judge and it could have gone either way.  My complaint isn't about the outcome of the fight.  However, I caught that one judge scored the fight 29-29, while the others scored it 30-27, 29-28.  What?!  In order to get a 29-29 outcome, he had to have given 2 rounds to one fighter and given a 10-8 to the other.  Can anyone please explain how one of those fighters got a 10-8 round?  There was never a point where either fighter was close to being finished and they were trading shots back and forth in every round.  Not only did this judge score the round 10-8, but another judge scored it 10-9 for the other fighter!  Again, I've judged a lot of fights, I know it's not easy (this fight was more difficult than most), but I cannot fathom how the judge could give a 10-8 in any of those rounds, especially when at least one of the other judges went the other way.  Am I missing something?

I also found that a hard fight to judge.   Don't forget that Buffer has read things incorrect before.    Maybe he word scrambled something?   I think the right guy won in the end.

That is a good point.  I hope that was the case.

ransom, you are probably right.  I've never seen a 10-10 in all of the fights I've judged and don't recall seeing on on TV, but a 10-10 is legal and a round could be scored that way.  Given the nature of the fight, I think you're probably right.  That's what I love about Lockflow...I got all worked up over what was probably nothing, only to get set straight by you...lol. That'll teach me to jump to conclusions. Thanks,
