Question
So for the past six months I've been deployed in Afghanistan. I believe i was 5000 ft above sea level. I'm currently in kuwait where we are pretty much at sea level. I was able to roll with some guys down here. I noticed that I could roll 70-80% with these guys and NOT get tired at all. The last guy I rolled with was the instructor of the class, I can honestly say this guy was a foot-lock,ankle-lock, heel-hook pro. We rolled for at least 10 min: Constant transitions, constant submission attempts. i wasn't tired but I kept taping due to my inexperience with getting out of foot-locks. Any suggestions on how to work on defense against foot-locks?? Thanks.

Talk to your instructor. chances are if he is footlock master he is a footlock defence master. Pick a footlock and work the same defence for it with him for a week and work through all the footlocks he knows week by week. Im sure he would be glad to help u.
