bits of it are maori influenced. I have a weird fascination with their warrior culture and the artist that did it has the same feelings toward their tattooing culture and traditions. (google max beers and check out the work on him, you'll see what I mean). anyway thanx for the compliment man, and I'll update it when more gets put on :D

This is not a sniper at you wolfhound, but ever since Miami ink all tattoos seem to have to have a meaning behind them.

I mean a few of mine do for sure, but the rest I think look badass. I think this falls in the 2nd category at a guess.

Except for my first tattoo, which was collected at the young age of 18, all of my ink has a meaning, and this was long before Miami Ink. I was coached at the beginning of my ink collecting days to choose wisely.

Great looking ink by the way, cant wait to see the finished product.

I agree. I think you're better off going with ink that has meaning.

Thanks guys! I have a couple of competitions coming up so Im waiting a little bit to add on, but after that its right back under the needle, I'll post again when I get more added on. Again thanks for the compliments, they will mean a lot to Max too. :D

Looks very nice, good idea, good art. I watched a documentary on the Mauri tribe and their facial tattoo's, pretty interesting to say the least.
