Well, I am a blue belt and it looks pretty effective to me. Especially considering that if I can get to class once a week now thats a lot! I sit around ALL the time wishing I could drill armbars or something, and I can't because no one is around. A little pricey though, I thought. However, I am really considering buying a Lucky Gi. Considering how often I get to class, and the fact that I use other gi's as well I could potentially use this guy way more than a new gi. If you actually use it then it would be worth it, I'm sure.
Seems like a good product and one that can be effectively used drilling techniques from home when you are bored * like i am most of the time  *
Am I the only one who thinks that the dummy looks too soft?
Isnt that what little brothers and nephews are for?

yea he really wasn't putting up much of a fight
Damn I want one... Thought about checking them out early next year with my tax return but think I'd rather buy a year at a gym instead. Cant imagine the dummy works as good as live training partners :) But still damn sweet..
I made one very similar to the one in the vid...actually the one i did (with some minor adjustments) was posted on LF about a month ago, it works really well. if you do that one, try using heavy duty black rubber bungee cords to link the pvc pipe to the dummy frame itself.

Just ordered one and it'll be here in 2 weeks. I'm excited to see which positions drill the best with this guy. Seems like since his arms and legs are curled up I should be able to do pretty much any position that isn't standing to some degree.
I've had one now for about 3 yrs. It's still solid and in great condition. It weights about 80lbs or so. It's very durable and still pops back in to position. I would recommend it to anyone. I've been able to learn an incredible amount of techniques with this dummy.
Seriously, it would be a great investment for anyone.

That looks pretty damn slick!! hhmm tax return.. hhmm :)
Hhhhhhello?
