So here's my question -    Is Brock hurt in the body due to all the surgery's or is he just a wuss?

Here's my argument for wuss.

1 - His 1st fight against Mir, tap was very early, knee bar wasn't really in.    At the time a lot of us chalked it up to inexperience.

2 - The Carwin fight in round 1 you could see Brock turning away when taking big shots.

3 - Same thing against Cain.  Really seemed to look like someone in his 1st sparring session turning away from punches.

4 - In this fight it seemed to be every single body shot that really hurt him and made him buckle.

So did he just run into a string of guys who really nailed him with the 1st shot?   Or is he a big strong athletic dude who cannot take a punch or pain?

I say overeems knees are enough to break any normal human lol.  He basically decapitated fujita, who has an iron chin.  As far as overeems knees go, im just going to assume that they were really hard and just connected.

Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, "I will try again tomorrow."

I was hoping for Nam Phan to win but he got it handed to him unfortunately.

I wanted Lesnar to win but I didn't see it happening. My guess is that Ubereem hit him really hard in the abdomen but it was also the exact same spot he had the surgery. The combination of that would drop anyone. Ubereem is obviously a very big guy. Lesnar should've taken him down. I don't see JDS doing very well in stand up vs Ubereem. But I could be wrong. It is heavyweight. They all have KO power so anything can happen.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.

My take on UFC 141; (Major FRAT warning)

Hettes looks like someone to really watch! He took it to Phan and beat him up. Loved his groundwork and positioning. I'd like to see how he fairs against a strong wrestler next. Someone that will be able to keep it standing and make him uncomfortable. Maybe someone like Danny Castillo.

Speaking of Castillo... I don't think he won that decision. He got some takedowns, but really did nothing with it. I know he was a late replacement, but I didn't like the decision.

Speaking of bad decisions... Don't know how Ross Pearson "won". Thought that was a terrible call. Maybe I'll have to watch it again, because I just don't see how he got the nod, though I must admit that I really wasn't interested in this fight, so I could have missed something...

Vlady... Man, I thought after KO'ing Brilz in his last outing that he still had some gas in the tank. Granted, Gustafsson is legit, but The Janitor looked his age in this fight. Not sure what his gameplan was, but he was slow and off balance, throwing some really sloppy punches. The most puzzling aspect is he didn't seem to go for the takedown.

Nate Diaz looks sharp! He is like a new fighter. He looked damn good against Gomi and came out firing like his brother against Cerrone. Fight of the Night here for sure!

All kudos to Nate, but I think it would've been a completely different fight had Cerrone not come out like he did. Cerrone was full of emotion, which caused him to really leave his defense open. He took way too many punches in the beginning of that first round and it was just too much for him to recover from. Great fight though!

I am a Brock fan. I really thought going into this one that he would be able to bull rush Ubereem down and put a hurtin' on him. The Reem has looked a killer since beefing up, but I've still got questions about his heart. In past fights (Shogun 1 & 2, Lil Nog 2, Arona), he's shown that when he gets bullied, he wilts. He hasn't experienced that yet at heavy and I thought Brock could put him in this position.

Again, Brock's another one tonight that I just didn't understand the gameplan. It almost seemed like he was trying to prove something by staying on the feet. I'm sure he was just trying to use some striking to soften him up for the takedown, but at some point desperation should've set in and it seemed like he should've at least made an attempt to get him down. Outside of the one single leg that he hardly committed to, Brock resorted to trying to catch kicks and knees... We all saw how that worked out.

Sad to see Brock go. Mostly because I thought he was a good character (not necessarily that he has "good character", referencing his role) in the fight game.

If it breathes - CHOKE IT!

I think Brock really just can't take a hit.  Every time he takes a good shot he buckles.  but that's just my opinion.  Great night of fights though!  Hettes looks like he's got a ton of potential.  I also really liked the fact that he was respectful before and after the fight.  Despite me hating the Diaz bros and always hoping they lose... he destroyed Cerrone.  I was really pulling for Donald but he didn't seem to do much of anything in there.

Anyone know what Brock is planning on doing next?

-Jimmy
