According to UG member Tap21,

"52 wins by pts
17 wins by leglock
8 wins by armbar
6 wins by guillotine
5 wins by RNC
4 wins by triangle
2 wins by judges decision
1 win by D'Arce
1 win by DQ"

These numbers are very interesting, looks like it was the year of the leglocks!

the high level is evolving for sure!

i wonder how long it will take for it to trickle down and change the technical lexicon of the grappling masses.

BJJ Weekly also boasted that many fighters were injured due to all the leg locks..

i think all of palhares and dean lister's wins were by leglock.

and i bet palhares was the one doing the injuring.

Yeah, Palhares was the one doing all the leglocks (as well as some of the injuring.) As a side note - Congrats to Andre Galvao the 2011 absolute CHAMPION!
