Arm Bar from Cross Choke Set-Up
Travis Tooke is one of only a handful of non-Brazilians to achieve the rank of Black Belt from Carlos Gracie Jr. and at only 23 years of age, became one of the youngest BJJ Black Belts in the United States. His name has appeared numerous times in Grappling Magazine and he is among the top Jiu-Jitsu competitors in the country.

Step 4
Travis attempts the cross choke and Israel blocks with his right hand.
Travis takes advantage by leaning forward and sliding his left knee around Israel’s head, trapping the arm.
Travis secures the near arm with his left arm and maintains the collar grip with his right hand. He then lifts Israel’s far arm up and slides his right foot under Israel’s left arm, making it very difficult to escape.
Travis leans to his right and places his left leg over the face to finish with the arm bar.

I love the armbar from the mount, and when the person on the bottom is defending the cross choke I bet they will never see it comming = ). I am going to use this in randori tonight! Thanks for the technique Chaz!!
