Here is one of the ways you can avoid being stacked. In the video I'll show the move, then break it down, then show it one more time. Helping me out is LockFlows own Kevinlace.
-
Start off with a triangle
-
Reach for the leg
-
Pull him on and over you
-
Sit up
-
Armbar
We'll start off with you locking on a triangle. Your opponent starts to stand up to stack you, to break open your triangle...
As soon as your opponents starts to stand up rotate and hook his leg behind the knee with your arm (if possible grab his arm also). Note: If you wait to long you'll be stuck and have to open your triangle.
Once you've hooked the back of his knee, pull his weight first onto you, then over you. Keeping control of the leg.
As you roll your opponent over, you will naturally sit up. Keeping control, place your left (outside) leg over his head.
Now just lean back for the armbar. Note: this same move works when some stacks you when you attempt an armbar from guard.
