Guard to Back Control
Taking the back from the guard...
-
Start from the guard
-
Pull your opponent over your head
-
Over your head
-
Grab the shoulder
-
Create space
-
Grab the knee
-
Start the reverse
-
Roll over
-
Sit up
Start with your opponent in your guard. Feed your hands under your opponents armpits.
Using your arms AND legs pull your opponent over your head...
You want your opponents weight over your head. Now with your right hand reach for his opposite shoulder...
Now grab the gi at the shoulder (the deeper the better).
Drop your right leg and slide your hips out to create space.
Your left hand reaches underneath and grabs your opponents gi at the far knee (your opponents left).
In one movement; pull the gi at the shoulder, kick with your leg and pull the gi at the knee...
Your opponent will rollover exposing his back...
Just sit him up and the back is yours.

Thanks Michael!
