This is a turnover you can execute against a turtled opponent. It's also a great chance to apply gi control on the far hand.

We start with Kyle in the turtle.
Chris enters with his knee, pushing the head to the side to create an opening.
Chris slides his hand along the leg into the gap created and hooks under Kyle's arm.
Chris grabs Kyls' belt with both hands. He grabs at the hip.
Chris slides his nearest leg under Kyle's legs then uses his leg to drive towards Kyle's far shoulder.
Chris completes the turn and control's Kyle's arm.
Chris keeps two hands on Kyle's arm to maintain control.
Chris keeps the hand under his arm controling Kyle's hand. The hand next to the belt grabs the skirt of Kyle's gi and stretches it over the controled hand.
Chris regains contorl with the belt-side hand before grabbing the gi skirt and pulling it "through the hole" of Kyle's arm.
Chris secures the control by making sure Kyle's hand is completely encircled. This can be done with either hand, depending on preference, or what technique Chris what's to persue next.

slick!
i have a question, have you ever had trouble on the "turn" part with someone posting out their left hand to stop you from turning them? and if so, how did you deal or counter that?
天下無難事,只怕有心人
Tank: Yes. The plan was to explore that reaction in some following videos. It's actually a lot of fun because that route provides the most opportunities for submissions. Yea!
awesome! i'm gonna go watch that video now!
