Dennis Asche is a good guy, he fought for me back in the day in one of my old warehouse shows, he won that fight with a kimura. Apparently he has won a lot of fights since then and is now a highly respected Black Belt. Check out this cool submission attack from under the bottom of cross body. Pretty sweet... I've hit a variation of this on accident before. It was more of 'I'm going to twist his arm and hopefully make him uncomfortable enough to get some space' more than any actual technique. But I'm definitely going to start playing around with it.

There are some defeats more triumphant than victories.

Same thing here, I've used it to get out of things, but I haven't really looked for the opening when blocking from bottom, damn I need back in the gym! This will be a great one to teach the kids for self defence though!
