Bicep grip heel hook
Here is a nice variation of the standard heel hook grip.

Step 1

Step 2

Step 3
-
Step 4
-
Step 5
-
Step 6
-
Step 7
Caleb has opened Cassie's guard by pushing her right thigh down with his left forearm.
Caleb slides his left knee inside his left arm onto Cassie's thigh
On the other side, Caleb steps up with his right knee close to Cassie's left hip
Caleb steps his right foot over Cassie's left hip and falls back making sure her leg stays bent, he closes his right arm around Cassie's left ankle
Caleb sits up and reaches his left forearm under Cassie's left heel
Caleb grabs his right bicep with his left hand
Caleb grabs his head with his right hand. To finish the submission, Caleb uses his legs to keep Cassie's knee bent, and leans back and to the left to apply the heel hook

This grip actually helps some people with H.hooks. Some people have a hard time slipping the knife of the near arm forearm under the heal.
Good option, Chaz!!!
And by next second broken knee i mean Your knee can be broken in the next second, your knee could be broken
Hence why in most events, heel hooks are illegal. By the way Chaz, nice selection of models, if I may say so myself.

Ya, Caleb is pretty handsome
Cassie had the begining of a good defense with her left hand in step 3. Do YOU know why???
Sergio- is it because I could have held his head down and possibly stopped him from popping back?

I don't think you could have kept him from rocking back on the leg... but, as he slides his right arm back onto your leg and sits down off his right foot, you can hook the back of his neck and head, get up onto your right elbow and push off with your hand, his momentum will pull you onto his chest before he can hook his right leg over your left thigh. This puts your foot on the mat. Kick it back and your in mount.
Now if you don't stay in tight and he's limber, he might be able to swing his leg over while you transition from your foot on mat to mount. So move aggressivly and quick.
Sorry forgot to tell you. Since he is going for the far arm heel hook... he still may be able to get the arm behind your heel while you're sitting on top. Since you're not on your back... you know... stand and spin!!!
Whats stopping the person from rolling and pushing off with the other foot to get free?
Can't stop them damn "Avengers" and their Jiu Jitsu.

i guess ur right leg. in step 7, u can use that leg to stop them from coming up and u can use it to post if they try to roll. and if they try something else, u'll b hurting them too much by then.
天下無難事,只怕有心人
yeah i agree smash there is that feeling of nothing then everything i do lovem thou n this is a good one as u have a thight grip and it is a bit harder for them to roll out but as with most leg locks u do leave your foot exposed for a counter and if thhey can get u in a toe hold or even a heel hook of there own then it could be you that taps or snaps what i surgest you do with your foot is try and pout it flat on the ground that way it holds them better in place and is harder for them to grap it and apply there own foot lock
only talk when walking is not enough
only hold when talking is not enough
only hurt when holding is not enough
only maim when hurting is not enough
only kill when maming is not enough
YOU ALWAYS HAVE A CHOICE
heel hooks is real cool to be used..but m worried about my training partner..gotta do dz real s l o w... ....
