Dennis Hallman's "Hopscotch Armbar"
Dennis Hallman has had over 50 fights: his victories have been a plethora of submission holds. Triangles, Arm Bars, Front Chokes, and Rear Naked Chokes have left many of his opponents in awe of his grappling ability or simply sleeping on the mat. Dennis is one of the few men to hold a victory over current UFC champion Matt Hughes. Not only did Dennis defeat Matt Hughes by submission in 30 seconds, but he has done it twice! Lockflow.com caught up with "Superman" at an MMA Event, and he was gracious enough to offer our fans a series of submissions from what he calls the "Hopscotch" series. Dennis claims that he has won of few of his fights with this set up. Here in the first of 5 techniques, is the Hopscotch Armbar.
Dennis Hallman's "Hopscotch" Series:

More follow ups to come next week!
Sweet, I like armbars.
While grappling with Dennis, I've never escaped this without getting subbed. It looks hokey but it works. The others in the series are just as nice, traingle and taking the back.
I set mediocre goals and seldom acheive them.
strike and sub...
i like it...=)
The strong man is not the one who wrestles, but controls himself in a fit of rage.

Frog style jiu jitsu.... brilliant!!!!!
lebell bin doing this for years its nothing new but yes harder to get out of then they look
it looks like the hopscotch position would be less stable, but it also looks like the man on top has his gravitational pressure in a more concentrated area. it looks... interesting... but also looks effective
Hopscotch does look unstable i better try this on my wife so i can built my confidence( just kidding).
i know you didnt see that one coming but it wouldnt have mattered cause your chin was high and your hands down away!
this position rocks. i gotta admit i use this often
I started playing with this position this week and so far I really like it. No stability problems yet...
