Galen and Kale square off.
Kale steps forward with his right leg as he changes elevation.
Kale shoots his right knee between Galen's legs as he grabs both of Galen's knees. Kale starts to step through with his left leg.
Kale finishes stepping through with his left leg and pushes Galen sideways. Using his head, Kale pushes Galen's body to the right as he scoops both his arms to the left.
Kale continues to drive Galen to the right as scoops the legs.
Kale drops Galen on his back.

Looks great, but I have difficulties if my opponent sprawls effectively. If I dont get hold of his legs with perfect timing, I end up having to turtle.. Any suggestions?
The only problem i see with this is you land in his guard when you could probably land in side control. Other than that, nice takedown.
mannn...i just cant get it with the gi version...the opponent just wont let go...
The strong man is not the one who wrestles, but controls himself in a fit of rage.

since fighting ive been taught to spear the belly with your head or turn your head inwards to avoid the choke hold which works great for me
if your opponets sprawls out to much for you to take the double abandon it for a single leg. or abandon the shoot all together and standout.
I was taught that you should try to line up your toes with his so when you drop your knee between your opponents legs your shoulder will hit harder making him lean over you and making it harder to sprawl effectively
i was taught never to shoot in a downward motion, but lower your own level, go straight in then up.
