Step 7
I am trapped under my opponent's side control but have my forearm and hand against his waist and hip.
I shrimp to the side to make the space for me to slide my legs through to recover guard.
I insert my knee into this space, partially recovering guard.
Rather than recovering guard fully, I bring my other leg up. Note my opponent still has his arms by my sides.
I pass my foot across my opponent's face so my ankle is under his chin and trap his arm by my side.
Using my shin his throat as an uncomfortable distraction, I turn my hips while keeping the arm trapped so push my opponent back onto the mat. His elbow should be over my thigh.
I squeeze my knees together and lean back towards the ground to finish the armbar.

slick
How many different ways are there to get to the armbar anyways? I'm thinking now like 2,000 or so? Pretty incredible move.

uhmm...wouldn't it jsut be easier to go for an omoplata instead?...i guess it depends on how the arms bent...but like..i could see myself having a hard time trying to finish this...let alone trying it on an opponent gets wise to it.
maybe because i'm biased towards omoplatas though
'Now we will practice armbarring the Hulk, No wait, Hulk is too strong, its not possible to armbar him.....BATMAN!...yes, now we will practice armbarring Batman'
when chuck norris goes to sleep, he checks under hes bed for Randy Couture!
hmm...
I personaly would go from step 4 and roll my hips over and go to a face down armbar or a Quick Armbar (shin cross face-final pos. 1).
sneaky one...
The strong man is not the one who wrestles, but controls himself in a fit of rage.
