Step 18
I start in the "Judo" position, Cole holds his arms tight to his chest in an attempt to block my submission attempts.
Using my right hand, I push Cole's head away from me
I use my right knee to replace my right hand, keeping Cole's head facing away from me
I pinch my knees together forcing Cole's head to look downward towards the mat. The thumbside of my left hand slips under Cole's left elbow
I grab Cole's left wrist with my right hand and slide my left hand to my right wrist - capturing Cole in the kimura grip
I yank up Coles arm to my chest
I twist to my left to apply the Kimura
Keeping Cole's elbow trapped to my chest, my right hand cups Cole's wrist and my left hand cups my right. I pull Cole's wrist in, applying the "Goose Neck" wrist lock.
I reach my right arm under Cole's arm
I drop the outside edge of my right hand towards Cole's pinky finger as I turn his wrist upward with my right
I grab my right wrist with my left hand and twist my right arm upward applying the "z lock"
My right hand reaches through and grabs Cole's back
I drop my chest weight on top of Cole's arm pinch my knees together, lift my left knee slightly off the mat and pivot backwards on my right knee - cranking Cole's neck for the crooked head scissor
I posture up and lift up Cole's arm
I reach my right arm to the inside of Cole's arm
I reach my arm all the way around as I spin my body to the side and reach under Cole's head. I use my left arm on Cole's hip to keep him from rolling out
I drop my hips as I reach my left arm deep under Cole's neck. My chest drops on Cole's shoulder to keep his arm from escaping.
I figure 4 my grip, grab Cole's head and push him flat on his back as I put my weight on Cole's shoulder and squeeze my arms together to finish the "Howdy" submission

i can't quite get the wrist lock in step 8. it would be helpful if you have a close up of the grip you did. i think this is a good drill too!

Keep Flowin!!!!!!
Keep Flowin!!!
Is that Cung Le from San Jo????
This is the most painful looking flow yet...

This is the best flow I've seen, these are all tremendously high % moves. I would also include the straightened-leg scissors and the figure-four scissors off the failed Kimura, both are nasty cranks/chokes. Those wristlocks are frightening, by the way.
How hard do you find the crooked head-scissors to hit if the guy is squirming or sweaty?
as long as positioning is good, it's not to bad, getting the position can be more of a challenge against a sweaty/squirmy opponent
yes! i found it! good stuff, gonna practice this in class.
天下無難事,只怕有心人
Can you make a video of this lockflow please? I'm still having trouble getting the authentic crooked head scissors part.
Shadallion-I'll try to remember to hook it up for you today. But, you gotta get an avatar up 1st!...I also sent you a friend request.
here's a video of the flow without the wristlocks, just kimura, head scissor, and howdy...
Lateral choke would also be nice to add to this...
