Brandon from 10th Planet Jiu-jitsu, Dallas Fort Worth shares this submission that he calls a "MUST TRY". After playing with this technique, I'm a huge fan too.
Here's the Vid, the step by step is below:
-
Step 1
-
Step 2
-
Step 3
-
Step 4
-
Step 5
Brandon starts in the "Vice" grip, with his right arm reaching under his partner's left armpit and the far side of his partner's neck. Brandon's left forearm rests on top of his partner's neck and gripping his right hand in a palm to palm grip.
Using his Vice grip to pull his partner's head to his right hip, and downward - exposing his legs. Brandon then steps over his partners left foot with his right leg.
Still using his head pull, Brandon falls to his left hip as he makes sure that his chest falls over the back of his partner's head, Brandon actually recommends getting over the shoulder of your opponent.
Brandon figure fours his legs
To finish the Japanese Necktie, Brandon thrusts his hips forward and pulls his legs back as his pulls his arms towards to his chest.

I don't have to win every time, it doesn't bother me in the slightest to get tapped. So I'm able to learn the ins and outs without my ego getting in the way. - Eu

THIS is an awesome choke. When I first saw it, I noticed there were some debating whether it was a choke or a neck crank.. trust me.. its a choke..lol.
AWESOME technique.
At some point, don't you have to switch your hands to a guilly style grip and not the "Vice"?

Very very smooth looking technique, I'm gonna have to remember to try this when I get up and rolling.

If he says so, then it must be the case. He probably knows better. Let him try to take advantage of it, and And I will do my thing
! believe enigma is right...I feel that after you suck him and roll him with the vice, you switch to a guillotine style grip to finish the choke. right?
keep your enemies close...keep your elbows closer
-or marcelo will break them.
Funny... I just learned this technique yesterday!
I have to say this is one of the most uncomfortable submission holds I've been exposed to...
Wow...that looks like a sick technique
