Kris Iatskevich Half Hatch to Neck Crank

The Half Hatch or Halch (both names are used) with chin strap is a very simple takedown to submission set.It offers you plenty of control and multiple follow ups should your initial sub fail.
keep control of opponents chin with your right hand and underhook his right arm with your left
reach over for a seatbelt.You could also grab the far trap or your own wrist
Pushing his head between his legs,rotate him down to the ground
On the ground keep a high side control and keep his chin thight
pull your elbow up to your ribs for the finish

i realy like this stuff and i can't count how many times i was here and didn't had any good attacking move. Also what do you do if the guy starts to reach for the legs and head and drives you for a takedown?

HEY LION WHEN THE GUY IS DRIVING INTO YOU THE BACK STEP TAKES HIM DOWN . JUST LIKE A REVOLVING DOOR YOU TURN WHEN THEY PUSH
You could also just sprawl back and turn him over on the ground.The chin strap takes away is forward momentum.That's why it's important to push down on his head with your forearm as you pull his chin up.
Also,you can bring your lead leg in front of his far leg (in this set that would be my left stepping in front of his left)as you pivot back,to add a bit more effect to your takedown.

Im all over this, is they run small - XL, if they run large - L, if the are normal, XL please!!!
...and is trying to figure out why.
The control and take down are great, but that crank is just wicked.
I love techniques that get a quick tap from a very small increase in pressure/angle of application.

this is probly a little late sicne this has been out awhile; i tried this while standing the other night after a guy shot on me... of course I was doing gi, so slightly different application. anyway i just passed his gi over to the hand that would hook the chin, and then sprawled and turned to north south... but I learned it here LOL.
