Modified Outside Single Takedown

Here, 7-1 profighter (19-2 overall), Buck "The Slam" Bisbey demonstrates a takedown that he has used in many of his MMA matches. I'll let Buck explain it to you in this video with the step by step photos below that:

Buck (left) and Chad square off
Buck initiates the tie up with both hands inside
Buck flairs his rght elbow, opening a passage to Chad's left leg
From here Buck can reach either his right (pictured) or left arm in to grab Chad's ankle
Heres a different angle of the same step
Buck brings Chad's leg up between his legs
Here is another angle of the pick up...
Buck places his right knee behind Chad's leg
Buck reaches up and grabs Chad's knee
Four actions happening here, Buck is dropping his weight, pulling with his right grip, lifting the heel with his left hand all while driving the side of his head into Chad's hip to the direction of the takedown
Buck finishes the takedown

1) Is that checkered patterns on your socks some type of grip, or just a design.

though i think that from step 6-7 it ain´t all about placin´ the knee behind ur opponents leg, but the sort off sweep or kick in, as Buck calls it. that one really brings ur opponent off balance.
and for mma, maybe Buck oughta shrug his left shoulder lil in step 7 to cover his chin. please correct me if i´m wrong, as i ain´t no 19-2 profighter.

cool! The outside single is one of my favorite takedowns! But i never seen it done that way..usually in that position i step back and run the pipe, or i'll go to the outside and sweep em or push their knee down..or els ei go on the inside for the trip
