Neck Extension

This submission, although very easy to counter with a bridge and roll, is one of my favorites. I won my first fight with this submission!

  • Step 1
  • Kim starts in the mount position.
  • Step 2
  • Kim slides her right hand under June's neck deep to the elbow.
  • Step 3
  • Kim grabs her own left bicep with her right hand.
  • Step 4
  • Kim places her left hand on June's forehead.
  • Step 5
  • Kim drops her weight down, pushing down on June's head with her left hand while pulling up on June's neck with her right forearm. Spreading out June's legs with double grapevines can also help put more pressure on the neck.

dang i thought i came up with that move well shows you that everyone is constantly thinking of new ways to torque your opponent

This one hurts

no doubt...u can make it like a choke, to cut off the air start by pulling their face towards ur chest, which will also provide more leverage for the neck crank.

天下無難事,只怕有心人

Nice. I do so love good cranks and locks.

I will roll with anyone, regardless of their skill level, age, gender or weight.

I would rather lose by one point then win by one hundred, for in that loss I will learn much and in that victory I will learn little.

the giraffe must had too much of this a few billion years ago... Wink

The strong man is not the one who wrestles, but controls himself in a fit of rage.

I love hearing the popping of the neck when you put this on somebody. On the other I hand I am not fond of the sound when done to me.

Won my first fight with this move!!!

I use to use this move a lot; however, it a lot of tournaments it is considered a  neck crank. It is surprisingly easy to break someones neck using this technique. The scary thing is if your watching someone do this move from and your not in front of them, it looks like a choke.

That's so funny, I think this was the first submission I landed in a tournament too! They should call this the rookie crank.
