Omoplata Counter to S-Mount

Lockflow Capt. "Malphresian" aka Robert Malphrus and his brother recently went to the TUF tryouts in Las Vegas. While the Malphrus brothers were busy getting the grapple on and representing the Lockflow Army. Robert picked up a cool sweep from another fellow contestant from England.

Next time you are working on a omoplata and someone tries to posture up to prevent you from snapping their arm off and taking it home as a trophy... you'll be ready.

Robert has Chris in the Omoplata catch.
As Chris postures up in an attempt to stalemate the omoplata, Robert uses the momentum of Chris's posturing to roll back with him.
As the backwards roll of Robert puts Chris on his back, Robert quickly moves to the top position.
Robert takes the S-Mount position and goes to work.

It's actually a very simple omo counter. You use their posturing momentum as you roll with them and it pulls you right on top.

And Chaz...the guy who showed this to us was from California not England. Smile His name is Alex Reyes...just looked it up.
