Omoplata to Foot Lock with Dan Strauss 'The Raspberry Ape'

I have to admit, this is the first time i've heard of 'The Raspberry Ape' aka Dan Strauss. I guess it's kind of a cool nickname. I wonder why he went with raspberry? I know that 'grape' has already been used, but what about 'cherry ape' or better yet, 'pomegranate ape'?
