I have my opponent in a rear mount with my left foot in. He blocks my right leg by closing the distance between his right knee and body.
Rotate clock wise to his left side. Slide your left leg deep into the bend of his left knee.
Sit off to his left side and lean forward. Keep your left arm across your opponents back to prevent him from sitting out.
With your right arm hook his left leg low on his shin. Figure four your left leg behind your right.
To finish, tombstone the lower shin to your body, sit back and shift your hips forward.

this doesn't look like a good idea ... if you already have a full rear mount just go for an rnc or face crank
you're allowing the guy every chance to escape by giving up the mount that way
FinalStep, I agree, This is a move I would go for for fun but never in a match or fight.
Of course its not going to be a high percentage submission, but if that was all we were interested in the whole site would be, armbar/triangle/RNC.
This move is an interesting alternative from the back mount.
Think... Way down on points with 30 seconds left in the match... your opponent is turtled and you can't get your hooks in... BAM! Submission For The Win!
I am Jack's Complete Lack of Surprise.
Xpmaqus, good point. And some people can defend the RNC quite well. It's a very quick transition from to step 1 to 4. Less than a second(I use it all the time.) Once you have the foot it's almost imposible to escape.
if u can't get the rnc go for a face crank if you can't get the crank rotate to an armbar or scissor choke
there're plenty of moves you can do from the rear mount the big problem i see with this one is you have to completely give up the mount, by the time you do that the person can easily flip on his back and roll out i just can't see this working on a resisting opponent
It's a good move - not super high percentage, but I've pulled it off rolling live against good opponents, though I've never gone for it in a competition. If the guy is turtled tight and won't let me get the far hook in, I will sometimes threaten this attack. When he defends, he often opens up space on the far side of his hip for me to insert my hook - then just play a normal backmount game.
yeah..the opponent might be aware of rnc...but probably not this 1...
The strong man is not the one who wrestles, but controls himself in a fit of rage.
