Scissor Kick to Knee Bar

This is another great take down and leg lock submission off the scissor kick series. This technique is useful when your opponent bases hard and leans forward off your take down attempt.

Seth and Eddie face off.
Eddie jumps in for the scissor kick with his right leg in Seth's mid-section and his left leg behind Seth's knees. Seth bases and leans forward to avoid from being swept backwards.
Eddie drops his head to the outside of Seth's left foot and reaches his right arm inside of Seth's left leg.
Eddie's left foot pushes on the back of Seth while Eddie's right knee drops between Seth's legs. The combination of Eddie dropping his head and pushing Seth's back with his leg forces Seth to fall forward.
Eddie continues to roll forcing Seth to the mat, Eddie brings his right knee up while keeping Seth's leg trapped.
Eddie brings his right leg through and place both heels on Seth's backside. Eddie squeezes his knees together and arches his hips to finish the submission.

Eddie should also clamp his heel down to gain more leverage and have more control.
