Side Choke Transition from Hooks In
Here is a transition that I have been catching lately, nothing fancy, but I thought I'd share it with you guys to see if you had anything to add to it, or just to see if it helped anyone else out there.
Here I have Chris's back, I have the seat belt grip with my right arm under his right armpit and my left arm over his shoulder.
Keeping my grip strong, I roll to my left side
I put my right hook under Chris's right knee, if he tries to step out to escape, it actually makes my transition easier
If Chris doesn't step out, then I plant my left foot on the ground and use my right hook to push Chris forward - This motion allows me to pull my left foot out from underneath Chris's body
Now I switch my hips bringing my left leg all the way outto my left sid. At the same time I shoot my right arm deep under Chris's neck while driving my right shoulder deep into Chris's shoulder
I drive my head to the mat and towards Chris's head as I work my right arm in as deep as possible.
I sprawl out, and tighten my grip as I flex my right bicep and drive my bodyweight into the side choke to finish
